Copyright Issues: By accepting the services of The Rampage Network, the CREATOR(s) will not be required to relinquish ownership of their COMIC to the NETWORK including copyrights and trademarks on such COMICS. While apart of the NETWORK, all/any intellectual property created by the CREATOR(S) will remain theirs and theirs alone. This excludes any fully coded layouts created by the NETWORK for CREATOR(S); The design will remain owned by the CREATOR(S) but any modifications and coding done by the NETWORK will remain the property of the NETWORK.
Services Agreement: The NETWORK is to provide the selected CREATOR(S) with free, ad-free hosting on the NETWORK servers; ONE free domain IF the CREATOR does not already own one for their COMIC; one section on the NETWORK forums. In exchange, the CREATORS are required to have the “Hosted by The Rampage Network” with a possible logo image (no larger than 50×50px) on the VERY bottom of their site. CREATOR(S) are also required to use the forum provided by the NETWORK on the NETWORK forums as their PRIMARY forum for their COMIC, this not only includes the CREATOR(S)’ COMIC hosted on the network but all/any mirrors the CREATORS currently have online.
Domains: ANY DOMAINS purchased and hosted by the NETWORK are to be used only for the purpose of the CREATOR(s) COMIC while on the NETWORK. If a CREATOR
with COMIC choose to vacate his/her space on the NETWORK, DOMAIN ownership will remain with the NETWORK unless an agreement is reached. A Domain will be allowed to expire if a CREATOR has not updated his/her comic within the span of THREE months between updates or TWO months within the next DOMAIN billing cycle (Exceptions can be made if the CREATOR notifies the NETWORK of a temporary HIATUS). INACTIVE COMICS will then be relocated to a SUB-DOMAIN on the NETWORK (comic-name.rampagenetwork.com) and then placed on the INACTIVE list until the creator requests that it be removed or resumes updating.
Mirrors: The NETWORK WILL only host PRIMARY COMIC websites. CREATOR(S) are permitted to have no more than 3 mirrors, These sites can not be linked as “main sites” nor can they can updated at the same pace as their main site on the NETWORK. Mirror sites MUST be at least ONE update behind their site that is hosted on the NETWORK. Portolio sites such as Deviantart or personal portfolio sites are excused from this rule.
Security: The NETWORK has the right to ban any ips, that they determine are a risk to the NETWORK and CREATOR sites that are on the NETWORK,
such as spam, bots, and hackers.
Copyright Infringment: Any COMICS found to be infringing on another artist’s copyright/creation will be solely responsible for all charges. The infringing comic will be removed IMMEDIATELY from the NETWORK once sufficient evidence is presented by the accuser.
Indemnity : CREATORS agree to indemnify and hold the NETWORK harmless from any liability, damages, actions, costs, and expenses incurred on account of the content of the CREATOR’S material, including but not limited to defamation suits, reasonable attorneys fees and costs of defense.
Binding: Upon accepting the services of the network, CREATORS will be immediately held accountable for the terms listed above and otherwise agreed to in passing.
